Joross Gamboa, 36, worried netizens and celebrities alike after revealing in one of his recent posts that he will be undergoing an operation due to his Achilles injury.
On Saturday, November 13, KAMI learned that the actor uploaded a short video clip of himself playing basketball when he suddenly fell on the ground.
As he lay in pain, his friends gathered around him to ask what happened and what he had been feeling around his leg area.

According to Joross, the pain did not register inside his head at first as he felt shocked upon feeling the sensation.

"Nag-basketball kami sa 3rd Floor naglaro kaming 3 vs. 3 tapos yung pagtakbo ko biglang may pumutok na malakas (may napigtas) alam niyo feeling ng may humampas ng dospordos sa binte malamang hindi basta parang ganun. Di masakit sa simula gulat lang akala ko nga may multo nun kasi walang tao sa likod ko. Tapos dahan dahan ng sumasakit taas ng sakong ko ayun napigtas na nga Achilles ko. Napaka importante talaga ng stretching sa simula."
In his recent Instagram post, the actor posted a photo taken at what seemed to be a hospital, showing a peace sign before his surgery.
"Getting ready for my Achilles operation! Godbless everyone! Praying for a smooth operation and a quick recovery in Jesus Name! Also special thanks sa aking pinakamamahal na asawa @katz_gamboa sa pagpaparanas sakin ng 10 [stars emoticon] na pag-aalaga! Labyu!"
