Ashley Ortega enthusiastically opened up to KAMI regarding the best thing about being a Kapuso, and it's likely one of the reasons why she opted to renew her contract with the TV network.
According to her, GMA helps its artists in developing and succeeding in their craft. She also mentioned that the television network allows them to work with various actors on different projects.
"The best thing being a Kapuso is being able to grow as an actress and working with different actors and actresses," she said.
Also, Ashley stated that she preferred challenging roles, particularly "troubled characters," when asked about her dream role.

"I always had an inclination towards challenging roles. Characters that have been troubled--characters that have experienced or are experiencing intense emotions and feelings. Because only through roles that push me beyond my boundaries and widen my horizons can I achieve my goal in becoming a versatile actor," she stated.
