Tabloid apologizes to Ellen Adarna and Derek Ramsay after the actor refuted their previous report about Elias

Derek Ramsay and Ellen Adarna recently took to social media to refute a report published by a tabloid.

According to the report, Ellen prevented Elias from using John Lloyd Cruz's surname in their wedding invitation.

Furthermore, the aforementioned tabloid immediately issued an erratum to give clarification on this matter.

They also stated that they had a sincere and cordial conversation with Derek to resolve the issue.

In their statement, which they shared on Facebook, they apologize to Ellen, Derek, Elias, and their whole family.

"Pagkatapos ng maayos at mahinahong pakikipag-usap kay Mr. Derek Ramsay kaugnay ng sensitibong paksa at titulo na lumabas sa aming pahayagang BULGAR at sa aming Facebook page ngayong Sabado mula sa kolum na BIDA ni Nitz Miralles, kami ay taos-pusong humihingi ng paumanhin kina Derek, Ellen Adarna, kay Elias Modesto at sa kanilang pamilya na nasaktan sa isyung hindi ipinagamit ni Ellen sa kanilang anak ni John Lloyd Cruz ang apelyido ng tatay ng bata."

Derek was born in Britain but was raised in Cainta, Rizal. He worked as an actor and a model in the 2000s. Following that, he appeared in films like Habang May Buhay, The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin, I Love You, Goodbye, and No Other Woman.

In a previous report by KAMI, Derek and Ellen recently clapped back at a basher of their relationship.

After Ellen shared a small teaser video of their prenuptial shoot, the stated basher expressed his disapproval of the pair. “Maghihiwalay din ito after a few years,” the soon-to-wed couple's basher remarked.

Derek earlier expressed his love for his fiancée, Ellen Adarna, by reposting a photo that he keeps looking at because it makes him happy. Every time he looks at the photo of Ellen, the actor says he falls more in love with her. Derek also thanked God for sending him Ellen, whom he referred to as his "soul mate."
