He said that instead of colors, people should look at the character and reputation of a candidate.

The showbiz reporter then said that even President Duterte and Mayor Sara Duterte supported former President Noynoy Aquino, whose campaign color is yellow, during the 2010 elections.

“Maging si Pangulong Duterte at Mayor Sara Duterte ay sinuportahan din naman noon si PNoy. Normal naman sa pulitika ang paiba-iba ang kulay,” the showbiz reporter said.

Ogie then said this is why people should set aside whatever anger they felt toward the so-called “yellows,” adding that politicians change colors all the time.

“Ipahinga na yung galit nyo sa mga Dilawan,” Ogie wrote in his post.

He stressed, however, that he is not a “yellow,” nor does he look at colors when voting.

“Hindi ako Dilawan. Hindi ako tumitingin sa Kulay. Sa tao ako tumitingin. Sa karakter. Sa reputasyon. Sa kung ano ang magagawa para sa bayan. Sa linis ng kasaysayan ng pangalan,” the famous showbiz reporter further wrote.

In parting, Ogie said that there’s nothing he can do if many others would still think or look at it in the same manner, saying that it is their own vote after all.

Ogie just reminded everyone that each vote is important and that it would mean a lot for the country’s future.

Ogie Diaz, or Roger Diaz Pandaan in real life, is a Pinoy actor, comedian, entertainment reporter, and talent manager. He was born on January 2, 1970 in Quezon City and was known as “Pekto” in the popular and long-running TV sitcom, “Palibhasa Lalaki.” He is also known as the talent manager of award-winning actress, Liza Soberano, and is also the man behind the YouTube channel, “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update.” He started his career in showbiz in 1987 as entertainment reporter Cristy Fermin’s assistant at the Mariposa Publications. He later went on to become a successful talent manager.

In his recent vlog on YouTube, Ogie and Mama Loi released yet another showbiz update, where the two talked about the controversies surrounding Aljur Abrenica and Kylie Padilla. Among the issues they tackled was the now-deleted post of Aljur about his estranged wife on Facebook. According to Ogie, Aljur may have been pressured to post that due to the bashing AJ Raval received.

Ogie also discussed about how Director ‘Direk’ Bobet Vidanes when he broke his silence over his resignation from ABS-CBN. Following this news, rumors about the director being unaware of Kim Chiu becoming a regular host surfaced online. In their latest showbiz update, Ogie Diaz revealed he managed to talk to someone from “It’s Showtime.” According to Ogie’s source, ‘Direk’ Bobet knew all along that Kim would be joining the show soon.
