In a social media post, Lhar shared how he first got to know Alden when the actor was still establishing his name in the entertainment industry. He also recalled working with him during the premiere of a film in Los Angeles and described the qualities that made an impression on him.
“I have known Alden Richards since he was a young actor trying to make a name in showbiz. Alakdana at Tween Hearts pa ang mga project niya noon. Nakasama ko rin siya out of the country for the premiere night of The Road sa Los Angeles. One thing I noticed about him was his kindness. He’s such a caring person. He’s also very humble,” Lhar wrote.
The journalist said he was happy to see Alden achieve greater success while retaining the qualities he had observed early in the actor's career. He also highlighted how appreciative Alden is toward people who do good things for him.
