Nikko Natividad appealed for prayers after his wife, Cielo Eusebio, had to undergo emergency surgery for an ectopic pregnancy during their birthday trip to Singapore.

In his Instagram caption, the actor shared that the couple had gone abroad to celebrate his wife’s birthday. Their plans changed when she was rushed to the emergency room, where they learned about the pregnancy.

“Hindi namin alam na 6weeks na pala syang pregnant,” he wrote.

According to Nikko, his wife needed an immediate operation because they were told that her condition was dangerous. He identified the diagnosis as an ectopic pregnancy.

“Wala kaming choice kung di pa operahan sya agad agad dito sa SG dahil delikado daw at ectopic pregnancy sya,” he explained.

The announcement also carried the painful news that they had lost their baby. As he shared their situation, the actor expressed sadness over the loss while making clear that his wife’s safety was his immediate concern.

“Nakakalungkot dahil syempre nawalan kami ng anak.Pero ang dasal ko ngayon maging ok si wife,” he said.

At the time he wrote the post, Nikko said six hours had passed and his wife had yet to come out of the operating room. He ended his message by turning to their family and friends for prayers.

“Sa mga kaibigan pamilya namin we need your prayers,” he wrote.
