Tom Rodriguez and his non-showbiz wife are preparing to welcome their second baby boy, and their eldest son, Korben, is already excited about becoming a kuya.

According to Aubrey Carampel’s report on Balitanghali on Monday, October 12, the actor confirmed the pregnancy during GMA Fanverse on Saturday, October 10. He shared that the baby is expected to arrive on March 21.
The announcement also came with a glimpse of how the couple’s firstborn is responding to their growing family. In his interview with Nelson Canlas, Tom recalled explaining to Korben that another baby was now inside his mother’s tummy.
“Sabi ko, ‘Korben, remember, you were a baby in mama’s tummy. Now, baby Koda is in there.’ Grabe ’yung kilig niya, sabi niya, ‘Kuya Korben,’” he shared.

The little boy’s response showed that he was beginning to understand his new role. For the proud dad, hearing his son call himself “Kuya Korben” was a memorable part of sharing the news.
“So now he’s starting to wear it as a badge of honor,” the celebrity added.
Tom referred to their unborn child as baby Koda during the conversation. His story focused on Korben’s excitement as the family prepares to welcome another son.
The update follows earlier interviews in which the actor spoke about fatherhood while explaining why he chooses to share only parts of his personal life.
In November 2024, he revealed in an interview with Nelson that he was already a father to Korben. At the time, he described his son as an important source of motivation.
“I feel great. He’s my greatest source of inspiration,” he said.
He also explained that he was comfortable talking about his family when asked, even though he preferred to keep those experiences close to him.
“I just really wanted to keep it for myself. If someone wanted to ask… kapag nasa work ako, I happily share.”
In December 2025, the Kapuso star confirmed that he was married to his non-showbiz partner. He clarified that keeping their life private did not mean hiding his wife and child.
“Sa akin lang, I just wanna live my life privately, pero we go out, we have a community kung saan kami nakatira. Kung ano ’yung buhay namin noong nasa U.S. kami, we try to do the same here,” Tom explained.
