Atasha Muhlach shared a touching message about her twin brother, Andres Muhlach, during her guest appearance on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” on Monday, October 12.

During the interview, host Boy Abunda asked Atasha about the similarities and differences between her and Andres as twins. The actress and host had a lighthearted exchange as they discussed what sets them apart.

“Siguro, similarities, ang last name namin? And siguro ang differences, babae ako, lalaki siya,” Atasha said.

She then opened up about her close bond with Andres, describing him as someone who has been by her side through different stages of their lives.

“Pero me and Andres are very, very similar. I always tell him this: he's my day one. And side by side, we've been through everything together. Mula noon hanggang ngayon, still the same thing. And we have the closest relationship ever,” she shared.

Atasha emphasized that despite their differences, she and Andres remain very similar in many aspects. She also pointed out one noticeable physical difference between them.

“So, sa similarities, we're very similar in all aspects. But differences, siguro, parang height na lang. Kasi sobrang tangkad ni Andres. 6'2" [siya] eh,” she added.

Atasha Muhlach is the daughter of veteran Filipino actor and endorser Aga Muhlach, who rose to fame after starring in the 1986 hit film “Bagets.” Over the years, Aga established himself as one of the country’s prominent leading men, earning recognition for his performances in successful films such as “Sana Maulit Muli,” “Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal,” and “Miracle in Cell No. 7.” Beyond his successful career in the entertainment industry, he has also built a family with former beauty queen Charlene Gonzalez, whom he married on May 28, 2001. The couple is blessed with twins, Andres and Atasha, who have also attracted public attention as they grow up in the spotlight.

Recently, PETA President and PETA Plus Program Director Melvin Lee defended Atasha amid discussions surrounding her casting in “Bongga Ka Day!: The Annie Batungbakal Musical.” He explained that she secured the lead role after passing the audition, addressing questions about her selection. Lee also commended her singing and dancing skills, stage presence, and rapport with her fellow performers. Veteran entertainment columnist Salve Asis later posted his statement on Instagram.

Months earlier, Atasha also drew attention after being seen with her rumored boyfriend, Jacob Ang, the son of San Miguel Corporation Chairman Ramon Ang. They attended the wedding of Jacob’s sister, Carmela Ang, and Miguel Tan, where they were photographed together, including in one picture showing Jacob with his arm around Atasha. Although the two have made several public appearances together, neither Atasha nor Jacob has confirmed whether they are in a relationship.
