Becky Aguila has spoken up following Patrick Garcia’s recent interview about his past relationship with Jennylyn Mercado.

In a Facebook post, the talent manager directly addressed Patrick after the actor discussed his side of what happened between him and Jennylyn nearly two decades ago.
Patrick opened up about their past during an interview on Ogie Diaz’s YouTube vlog uploaded on September 29. He explained that one reason he decided to speak was the online bashing being received by his daughter Michelle Garcia.
Becky, however, questioned why the actor chose to talk about the issue publicly.

“Hi Patrick. Long time no see or talk/txt. Nakakabigla naman pasabog mo,” she began.
She made it clear that she was not speaking in her capacity as Jennylyn’s manager.
“I am posting this, not as Jen's manager, but as her second mom,” Becky wrote.
She then asked why Patrick did not reach out to her first if he had concerns involving Jennylyn and their son, Jazz.
“Why did u have to resort to an interview? Kahit wala na si Tita Lydia, andito pa naman ako,” she said.
According to Becky, she felt hurt for Jennylyn after hearing Patrick’s statements.
She also brought up what she described as Patrick’s shortcomings toward Jennylyn and Jazz.
“Sa dami ng pagkukulang mo ke Jen lalo na kay Jazz, mas inintindi mo pa magpa interview to protect your daughter from bashers at the expense of Jen and Jazz,” she wrote.
Becky added that Patrick could have contacted her so the matter could have been discussed privately with Jennylyn and Dennis Trillo.
“Me concerns ka pala sana nag reach out ka na lang sa akin at maayos natin nailatag to with Jen and Dennis at madali naman sila kausap,” she said.
She also claimed that there were things from the past that Jennylyn chose not to publicly discuss out of respect for Patrick and his family.
“There are a lot of things you did to hurt her, and never niya kwinento yun sa iba bilang respeto sa iyo at tatay ka ng anak ninyo,” Becky stated.
One of her strongest remarks came when she questioned Patrick’s version of events.
“Pasensya na Patrick pero yung truth mo maraming kulang at dagdag,” she wrote.
She further said that the old issue had already been quiet before Patrick decided to talk about it again.
Becky ended her message with a strongly worded statement about how she personally viewed Patrick’s past relationship with Jennylyn.
“All I can say is that you never deserved Jen's love in the first place. And you will never earn my respect,” she said.
Patrick, for his part, said during the interview that he wanted to share the story he had kept to himself for around 18 years and denied the long-standing claim that he abandoned Jennylyn while she was pregnant.
