The Parokya ni Edgar frontman posted a lovely portrait of Neri and accompanied it with a sweet birthday greeting. He first reminded his wife of how much he loves her and how important her happiness is to him.
"Happy Birthday, Ms.Neri.

Chito then went on to enumerate the many qualities he appreciates and celebrates in Neri, including her kindness, sweetness, thoughtfulness, simplicity, strength, and the love she gives to their children.
"Sobrang naa-appreciate ko at sine-celebrate ko talaga kung gaano ka kabait, ka-sweet, kakulit, ka-thoughtful, ka-considerate, ka-simple, ka-babaw, ka-lambing, ka-forgiving, katatag, katibay, kalabaw, at kung gaano mo kami kamahal ng mga anak mo."
He also added a playful remark about one particular quality in the list, joking that he deliberately included "kalabaw" to see if Neri would read his entire message.
"(Siningit ko lang yung "kalabaw" para icheck kung binasa mo ba talaga lahat ng mga katangian na naa-appreciate ko sayo)"
Towards the end of his greeting, Chito reflected on how fortunate he feels to share his life with Neri and expressed his happiness at the thought of growing old together.
"Anyway, gusto ko lang naman mag-happy birthday, at ipa-alala sayo kung gaano kita kamahal, kung gaano ako ka-swerte, at kung gaano kasarap sa dibdib yung thought na makakasama kita sa buhay hanggang sa pagtanda.

Neri also shared that Chito was initially not fond of cats but gradually changed his mind after an emotional experience with one of their pets, allowing him to appreciate the comfort and companionship animals can bring.
