Lovely Abella opened up about the realities of managing a business while remaining committed to her Christian beliefs, explaining why she and her team have learned to celebrate both their victories and their challenges.

In a recent reflection, Lovely shared that running a company has not always been easy. Like many business owners, she and her team have encountered problems, difficult situations, and circumstances where they felt that the answers were beyond their own ability to provide.
Rather than viewing those experiences purely as setbacks, however, Lovely said they have chosen to celebrate even during challenging seasons because she believes every situation can teach them something.
“Hindi lang small wins ang cinecelebrate kundi pati ang challenges sa company 🥰,” she wrote.

Lovely explained that there have been moments when the difficulties facing their company were things they could not solve on their own. In those circumstances, her faith has led her to rely on God and trust that He will provide the direction they need.
“Madami po kaming pinagdadaanan na hirap, problema, sitwasyon na hindi kami ang makakasolusyon kundi si LORD lang, kaya ang celebration na ginagawa namin, may maganda mang resulta o madami mang pagsubok we celebrate,” she said.
The actress also described her business as something she believes God has entrusted to them. Because of this belief, she said she does not view the company simply in terms of financial success but also in terms of how it is managed and the kind of values it represents.
Lovely expressed her faith that God will not abandon the business or the families and people surrounding it if He has continued to accompany them through their journey.
“Dahil kasama namin si LORD sa laban ng negosyong pag mamay-ari niya, kung hindi niya kami pinapabayaan, hindi niya din pababayaan ang pamilyang nasa paligid namin at higit sa lahat ang negosyong binigay niya,” she wrote.
For Lovely, one of the biggest lessons from their business journey has been learning to pursue success without compromising the principles she now considers important to her faith.
She said they have learned that they do not need to use other people simply to move forward. She likewise does not believe that becoming involved in issues or controversies is necessary just to gain popularity.
“Kaya namin cenecelebrate dahil araw araw may leksyon sa amin, nagiging tama ang pagnenegosyong ginagawa namin, hindi kailangan manggamit ng ibang tao para lang umangat, hindi kailangan pumasok sa issue para lang sumikat,” Lovely explained.
She credited God’s grace for helping their business reach six years. At the same time, she acknowledged that faith requires them to continue choosing what they believe is the proper path.
For Lovely, believing that God is fighting for their business does not mean they can simply do whatever they want. Instead, she emphasized the importance of ensuring that their actions remain on the “tamang daan” and aligned with Him.
Her experience as a Christian business owner has also made her reconsider certain habits and approaches that she previously thought were acceptable.
“Totoo po, hindi madaling maging kristiyano, madami kang aalisin na nakasanayan mo na, na akala natin okay lang naman pero pag nakilala natin siya hindi niya pala gusto ang way ng pagmamanage namin,” she wrote.
Lovely admitted that there have been situations she did not understand at first. With time, however, she said she sometimes realized why certain things happened and became grateful that she had followed what she believed was God’s direction.
She described this process as learning that some decisions she initially struggled to understand may have protected her from consequences that could have harmed her.
The actress also reflected on the peace she experiences when she allows God to take control of her life, family, and business.
“Pero iba po pag si LORD ang hinahayaan nating kumilos sa buhay, negosyo at pamilya natin dahil ang sarap na nawawala ang worries, napapalitan ng Trust nawawala ang takot napapalitan ng Faith, nawawala ang pangamba napapalitan ng pag surrender,” she said.
Lovely acknowledged that entrepreneurship is difficult, but she believes that surrendering the business to God can give their work a more meaningful intention. Even amid problems, she said they can celebrate because difficult circumstances can be used to strengthen their faith.
She concluded her reflection by quoting James 1:2-3, which speaks about viewing trials as opportunities for joy because having one’s faith tested can develop endurance.
Lovely Abella has built a career in Philippine entertainment as a Filipina actress and comedienne associated with GMA Network, appearing in television programs, movies, and variety shows. Her visibility expanded further after she became part of the commercially successful film “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” which starred Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards.
