Charlie discussed the experience during her interview with Ganiel Krishnan on “Oh My Gan!,” which was posted Wednesday, August 19. She recalled how the recognition she received for the film became a defining moment in her career.
Winning Best Actress at the Metro Manila Film Festival brought Charlie greater recognition, but it also gave her another challenge to overcome. She felt the need to show that she could sustain the level of performance that earned her the award.
