Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi addressed the speculation surrounding her relationship with British businessman Jonathan Sterling, putting to rest rumors that the two had broken up.

During her interview on the Wednesday, August 19 episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," host Boy Abunda brought up the rumors that Celeste and Jonathan had called it quits.

Tito Boy directly asked Celeste whether she and Jonathan had separated at some point, saying, “Klaro lang, I don't mean to needle, but naghiwalay kayo? Did you separate during this time?”

Celeste acknowledged that the couple had experienced periods when they needed to give each other space, but clarified that their relationship had gone through its share of ups and downs.

“I mean we had moments where like we have to kinda make space or separate. You know, there's more in the show that I also can't say everything now,” Celeste said.

The soon-to-be mom then emphasized the importance of recognizing the challenges that can arise in a relationship and maintaining open communication through difficult moments.

“But, again, it's just about recognizing that there's always ups and downs. As long as we're always able to be honest with each other and just talk about it between family, I think that is the most important thing,” she added.
