When program host Boy Abunda inquired if Zoren ever talks to Carmina about her former partner, BB Gandanghari, who was formerly known as Rustom Padilla, Zoren revealed that such conversations are rare.
Explaining that he remains unfamiliar with their previous relationship history because he chooses not to pry, Zoren stated:
"Very seldom. Not unless it, you know, it pops up, 'yung mga whatever. But at the end of the day, I never, you know, Tito Boy, honestly, hindi ko alam yung history nila. I never ask."

Boy then followed up by asking if this lack of questioning was an intentional choice on his part.
Highlighting his desire to protect Carmina from revisiting unhappy memories, Zoren replied:
"Because if you're not happy with your past, bakit ko ipapakuwento sa'yo yung malungkot mong karanasan?"
Boy concluded the exchange by observing that the stability of Zoren and Carmina’s marriage is precisely what allows them to handle the past with such security.
"But the thing is, you're very, very stable," the veteran talk show host remarked.
