The singer particularly acknowledged the role he played in raising Yan.

She thanked him for being the father who protected, provided for and disciplined her husband throughout his life. Yeng then shared a touching reflection about how she now benefits from the values he passed on to Yan.

Her message carried a strong sense of faith, with Yeng expressing hope that their separation is only temporary and that they will eventually see each other again in accordance with God’s appointed time.

“Paalam po muna sa ngayon,” she wrote. “Sa tinakda po ng Panginoon na panahon tayo ay magkikitang muli at bibigyan ko po kayo ng mahigpit na yakap.”

She ended her tribute with a simple declaration of love and a final wish for her father-in-law to rest peacefully in heaven.

“We love you Daddy. Rest in heaven,” Yeng said.
