Boy Abunda shared his thoughts on Kris Aquino’s return to work after the actress and television host made her media comeback through a promotional campaign for Netflix Philippines.

During “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” on Monday, August 10, Boy acknowledged Kris’ latest project, which marks her first work-related appearance since taking a break from showbiz to focus on treatment for her autoimmune diseases.

“Nagbalik-trabaho po si Kris para sa isang promotional campaign for Netflix. Napanood na po natin to. Yung mga hindi pa nakakapanood, hanapin niyo po. Ito ang kanyang first project. Mula nang nagpahinga siya from showbiz para magpagamot sa kanyang autoimmune diseases,” Boy said.

He described Kris’ latest project as a brief engagement and expressed his happiness over seeing her return to something she enjoys.

“It's a short and on-time project. It's great to see Kris doing what she loves the most,” he continued.

Boy also took the opportunity to express his support for Kris, whom he affectionately called “Krissy,” while thanking her for returning to work.

“Proud of you, Krissy. At maraming maraming salamat,” Boy added.
