Mika Salamanca and Mikee Quintos shared honest and deeply personal opinions about infidelity during the grand mediacon of Regal Entertainment’s upcoming film Saving Cherry.

One of the questions posed to the cast centered on whether they believe a person deserves a second chance after cheating on their partner.

For Mika, the answer came quickly and without hesitation.

According to a report by PhilStar, the actress and content creator said she no longer believes in giving another chance to someone who has been unfaithful.

“No talaga. Kasi, kapag nag-cheat talagang may lamat na e. Hindi mo na maibabalik ’yung tiwala. And magsa-suffer lang ‘yung relationship. So, it’s a big no,” Mika said.

She explained that once trust has been broken through infidelity, rebuilding the relationship becomes extremely difficult.

Mika also revealed that her opinion was shaped by painful personal experience.

She admitted that in one of her past relationships, she stayed despite her partner repeatedly betraying her trust.

“I stayed din kahit nag-cheat siya ng dalawang beses. Du’n sa best friend niya tsaka du’n sa ex niya,” she recalled.

Meanwhile, Mikee Quintos expressed a similar perspective when asked the same question.

According to a report by GMA, the Kapuso actress gave a straightforward response.

“No. No more. That’s the answer.”

Mikee admitted that her outlook on relationships has changed over the years.

She shared that she previously believed people deserved another opportunity because nobody is perfect.

However, experience eventually made her realize that choosing to stay with someone who cheated often requires the faithful partner to shoulder the emotional burden.

“I used to believe na wala naman talagang perfect. So, I used to believe na puwede, okay lang ’yon. But giving a chance to a cheater, ’yung chance is hindi para do’n sa cheater, ’yung compromise mas nasa iyo. So, no,” Mikee explained.
