During her guest appearance on Friday’s episode of Fast Talk With Boy Abunda, the socialite, actress, and philanthropist spoke candidly about her new relationship, revealing that it began just days after she had promised herself she would never enter another samesex relationship.
According to Tessa, that decision came after what she described as an allegedly abusive samesex relationship in the past.
However, life took an unexpected turn only three days later.

“Alam mo, three days later, my new partner came into my life. Sa simbahan. And then hindi ko alam na she’s lesbian.”
Tessa said the meeting happened while she was at church, where she noticed a woman who would later become an important part of her life.
She fondly recalled the first time she saw her current partner, Irene.
“I was praying after. Then I saw my partner now, her name’s Irene.”
The socialite even remembered the details of Irene’s outfit that day, saying it left a lasting impression on her.
“And she’d like, you know, she’d like a super crisp shirt. Tapos grabeng earrings. Naka-clip pa. And Hermes sandals.”
Looking back at the moment with humor, Tessa joked that she later realized Irene had already taken an interest in her.
“‘Yun pala she liked me. I’m so likable.”
She explained that their first conversation was simple and natural.
“We just met in church. She just said like, ‘hey, we have a common friend.’ I said, you want a picture?”
From that chance encounter, the two gradually became closer, eventually developing the relationship they now share.
Although Tessa did not go into further details about how their romance progressed, she spoke warmly about Irene during the interview, suggesting that the relationship came into her life when she least expected it.
