According to the actress, the accident happened on Monday, the same day she attended a promotional event for the upcoming project Someone, Someday.
“So habang may event kami para sa promo ng ‘Someone, Someday’ nung lunes, naaksidente naman ang asawa kong direktor na si FM Reyes.”

Rita explained that her husband was injured after a grinder accidentally fell onto his wrist.
“Bumagsak sa kamay nya ung grinder sa may wrist.”

“Smile Smile ako sa event pero ung isip ko ay nag aalala.”
