Scottie Thompson, born Earl Scottie Carreon Thompson on July 12, 1993, is a Filipino professional basketball player known for his agility, energy, and versatility on the court. He plays for Barangay Ginebra San Miguel in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) and is also a member of the national team, Gilas Pilipinas, representing the Philippines in international competitions. Scottie developed his skills and passion for the game while playing college basketball at the University of Perpetual Help in the NCAA, where he earned recognition for his consistent performances. Following his collegiate success, he was drafted fifth overall in the 2015 PBA draft by Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, quickly establishing himself as a valuable player for the team.
