Speculation about the couple’s relationship surfaced due to their long-distance arrangement, with Michelina currently living in the United States alongside their two-year-old son, Roman Andrew. Albie addressed the rumors directly during an interview with the press following the media conference for his upcoming project, Hibla 2, held at Viva Café in Quezon City on Tuesday, June 23.

When asked about the status of their relationship, the actor quickly dismissed any notion of a split, explaining that the only challenge they face is the distance between them.

“Distance lang,” he said in a video shared by ABS-CBN News.

Albie also revealed plans to reunite with his family soon, further putting the rumors to rest. He shared that he is set to fly to the United States during the first week of July after completing his current commitments in the Philippines.

According to the actor, he intends to stay there for about three months and is expected to return in October. The upcoming trip follows a recent family reunion in March, when Michelina and Roman Andrew visited the Philippines for a vacation. Their continued efforts to spend time together despite living in different countries underscore that their relationship remains strong.
