F4 members Jerry Yan, Vic Chou, and Vanness Wu, together with Mayday frontman Ashin, have donated a combined P5 million to support families affected by the recent earthquake in Mindanao.

The donations were announced through the official social media pages of the GMA Kapuso Foundation and the ABS-CBN Foundation ahead of the highly anticipated Philippine stop of the “F✦FOREVER” tour, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 27, at the Philippine Arena.
According to the organizations, the artists collectively donated P5 million, with P2.5 million allocated to the GMA Kapuso Foundation’s Operation Bayanihan program and another P2.5 million given to the ABS-CBN Foundation’s Sagip Kapamilya initiative. Both organizations are currently carrying out relief efforts for communities affected by the earthquake in Mindanao.
The GMA Kapuso Foundation said the donation would help fund relief and rehabilitation programs for families devastated by the disaster. The organization also underscored the artists’ longstanding relationship with their Filipino supporters, noting that their contribution reflects a commitment that extends beyond entertainment.

“Beyond their legendary artistry, the global superstars have consistently shown immense love for their Filipino fans. Through this immediate financial aid, they hope to bring urgent comfort and essential support to displaced communities striving to recover from the natural disaster.”
The foundation further emphasized the significance of the donation, saying it reflects the enduring connection between the performers and their audience in the Philippines.
“This meaningful contribution reflects the group's enduring bond with the Philippines, further strengthening the connection they have built with Filipino fans through the years,” it added.
Meanwhile, the ABS-CBN Foundation expressed appreciation for the donation, saying it would help expand the reach of its Sagip Kapamilya operations as recovery efforts continue in affected areas.
The organization noted that it has been working closely with local partners and communities since the earthquake struck, providing immediate assistance to those in need.
“This generous donation will strengthen ABS-CBN Foundation’s Sagip Kapamilya relief work for families affected by the earthquake. Since the disaster, the Foundation has joined forces with local partners and communities to deliver urgent aid, from hot meals and food packs to vital supplies and care for children and families.”

Beyond their upcoming concert appearance, the Taiwanese stars have earned praise for their efforts to assist communities recovering from the earthquake. Supporters have commended the group and Ashin for extending help to those affected by the disaster, with the contribution expected to bolster ongoing humanitarian and recovery initiatives in Mindanao.
Following the powerful magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck Mindanao, Melai Cantiveros traveled back to General Santos City to be with her family and assist affected communities. The actress and host documented the destruction through emotional social media posts, sharing images of damaged infrastructure. Alongside her messages of grief and concern, she prayed for her hometown’s recovery. Melai also encouraged others to extend help to those impacted by the disaster.
Melai also shared that Angel Locsin quietly provided assistance to communities affected by the magnitude 7.8 earthquake in Mindanao, including residents in General Santos City. Joining the relief efforts were Kim Chiu, Robi Domingo, and Bianca Gonzalez. Melai thanked Angel for her generosity and commended her for continuing to help those in need without seeking attention.
