Bea Borres, actress and content creator, recalled the moment basketball player Meray Yamada found out about her pregnancy during her guest appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda. According to Bea, it was actress Andrea Brillantes, also known as Blythe, who eventually revealed the news to Meray after Bea struggled to tell him herself.

Boy first asked Bea how the revelation happened and why she found it difficult to personally tell Meray about the pregnancy.
“Hindi ko kasi alam kung paano ko sasabihin, Tito Boy,” Bea aired.
Boy then followed up by asking if she was afraid to tell Meray about the pregnancy.

Bea admitted that she was deeply afraid at the time because neither she nor Meray was ready for parenthood, especially with the unstable state of their relationship then.
“Sobrang takot talaga ako. Takot talaga ako kasi hindi talaga kami ready. Tapos 'yung relationship kasi namin, on and off nu'ng time na 'yon. Ang press release niya kasi, wala na daw kami, ang kapal talaga ng mukha niya, charot lang! But yeah, sinasabi niya na wala na raw kami. But we were still together,” Bea aired.
Bea also shared that she confided in Andrea because she genuinely did not know how to break the news to Meray herself.
“Sabi ko, 'Bestie, hindi ko talaga alam kung paano ko sasabihin sa kanya'”
According to Bea, she even messaged Meray beforehand to seek reassurance that he would still love her no matter what.
Bea then explained that Andrea eventually became frustrated with the situation since everyone involved was close friends.
“Tapos si Blythe, parang nainis na siya. Actually friend din siya ni Blythe. We're all friends actually,” Bea shared.
Bea recalled that Andrea eventually stepped in and revealed the pregnancy herself during one of their moments together, hugging both Bea and Meray before saying, “Bea is pregnant.”
Bea then shared Meray’s alleged reaction after hearing the revelation.
“What? Are you serious? I need my mom.”
Boy later asked Bea what happened after Meray informed his mother about the pregnancy. “So he told his mom? And then?” Boy queried.
Bea shared that things initially went smoothly with Meray’s mother, though she admitted that changes in their relationship eventually surfaced as reality started to sink in.
“Okay naman sa mom niya. It was going smoothly naman. Tapos, ayun, nag-kick na siguro 'yung hormones ko, Tito Boy. Nag-kick na 'yung expectations ko sa kanya. Parang lumabas 'yung tunay na ugali ko, lumabas 'yung tunay na ugali niya. Kasi siyempre bago pa lang kami so nasa honeymoon phase pa lang kami tapos biglang, boom, buntis ako,” said Bea.
