Julius Caesar Platon II, who previously served as vice mayor of Tanauan, Batangas, passed away on November 18, 2018, at the age of 43. Reports stated that he suffered a heart attack while driving along the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) near Sucat, Muntinlupa.

He was immediately rushed to Asian Hospital and Medical Center in Alabang for emergency treatment. Despite medical efforts, he eventually passed away, leaving behind his family and loved ones.

In May 2022, Custodio entered into a civil marriage with businessman Frederick Cale in Muntinlupa, though they eventually separated.
