In a heartfelt social media post, Camille explained that as she stepped back from work and spent more time at home, VJ’s schedule became even busier, often leaving before she woke up and returning late at night. Because of this, they barely had time to talk and bond before going straight to bed.
When she finally opened up about her feelings, Camille said she appreciated how her husband handled the situation. Instead of getting defensive or using work as an excuse, VJ immediately suggested they bring their son Nathan to school together and go for a run afterward so they could reconnect and spend quality time with each other.

“Due to life’s busyness lately, I finally shared with him how I’ve been feeling. I told him that over the past few days, I’ve felt a bit disconnected from him.
As i take a step back from work, which means I’m home most of the time, while he’s out almost every day, leaving before I wake up and only seeing each other at night, we barely have time to talk and connect before heading straight to bed.
When I opened up to him about this, he asked if we could drop Nathan off at school and go for a run together nearby.
I really appreciate that he didn’t get defensive or use busyness and work as an excuse. Instead, he became proactive and did something about it right away. Sometimes, we wives just want to feel valued and prioritized through undivided time and attention. Nothing big. Nothing grand. Just the simple, little acts of showing up.”
