He also emphasized the personal nature of his faith, which he says is rooted in God’s grace rather than in others’ approval. “And my relationship with God is not based on other people’s approval. It’s based on His grace, His love, His acceptance, and His forgiveness,” he added.

IC concluded his message with a note of affirmation for those struggling with similar challenges. “So yun nga, I don’t have to choose between my faith and my identity because I can be both. Okay, a little reminder from Sexbomb IC. Char!”

IC also shared the same sentiment on Threads, reiterating his stance against using faith to harm others. In his post, he wrote:

“Stop weaponizing our Christian faith to hurt people and clout chase. I am a gay guy and a Christian. Anak at apo ako ng mga Pastor. I practically grew up in church and my relationship with God is built on prayer and his grace, and not on other people's approval. I did not choose between my faith and my identity, I can have both. Nagmamahal, Sexbomb IC.”

The SexBomb Girls are a monumental all-female group that redefined the Philippine entertainment landscape. Originally formed as house dancers for Eat Bulaga, they transitioned into a multi-media powerhouse, becoming Asia’s top-selling female act in the 2000s. With quadruple-platinum hits and a record-breaking seven-year drama series, Daisy Siete, they were eventually inducted into the Box Office Hall of Fame.

Recently, Izzy Trazona recalled an emotional moment during her surprise appearance with the SexBomb Girls at the “Rawnd 4” concert. Having resigned from the group in 2009, the reunion was particularly moving for her. On a guesting with her husband, Alvin Aragon, on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Izzy revealed that she came straight from a live selling event for her luxury bags before heading to the concert. She also shared that she asked for Alvin’s permission beforehand, though he was initially hesitant.
