Actress Janella Salvador recently opened up about her co-parenting arrangement with former partner Markus Paterson, the father of her son Jude, in an interview on Fast Talk With Boy Abunda on GMA.

Janella shared that although Markus is not currently in the Philippines, he makes an effort to stay connected with their son. “We’re co-parenting now but he’s not in the country currently. He’s back in his hometown in the UK but he reaches out a lot, nag e-effort naman siya,” Janella said. “Nag vi-video call kapag may time. And when he’s here, nag e-effort naman siya na ‘Pwede bang hiramin?’ Pinapayagan ko naman sya, of course.”
When asked if she considers Markus her friend, Janella responded: “I would say we are partners in Jude.”
Janella further explained that she no longer has an issue with Markus in terns of financial support because he now provides financial assistance for their son. She said she had spoken to him about the importance of contributing to Jude’s needs, though she clarified that it does not necessarily have to match the amount she provides.
Through the interview, Janella emphasized that her main concern is Jude’s well-being, and she expressed appreciation that she and Markus are now able to work together as co-parents.
Currently, Janella is rumored to be in a romantic relationship with actress Klea Pineda.
