“We dream of a Philippines free from corruption, where accountability and compassion guide us forward,” Sophia penned, highlighting her aspiration for a nation where leadership is transparent, responsible, and compassionate.

Although she could not attend the rallies in person, Sophia assured her fans and fellow citizens that she stands in solidarity with their call for change.

“The voice of the Filipino people is powerful and unshakable. Even if I cannot be present in today's rallies, I am listening, I am aware, and I stand with you.”

Her message comes at a time when thousands of Filipinos are gathering across the country to call for greater transparency, accountability, and integrity from government officials. While Sophia herself could not join the rallies in person due to her professional commitments, her post highlighted her solidarity with the people advocating for change.

KATSEYE, under Sophia’s leadership, has been gaining international recognition for its dynamic performances and multicultural appeal. However, Sophia’s recent statement demonstrates that her influence extends beyond entertainment, resonating with societal issues and the concerns of ordinary citizens.

News, photos, or videos that arouse the interest of netizens would often go viral on social media, due to the attention netizens give them. These viral posts appeal to the emotions of netizens, and in rare cases, this could also happen to ordinary people, making them very relatable stories for all of the ordinary people in the country.

Last year, global girl group Katseye had a lovely and trending guest appearance on “It’s Showtime.” The six-member band – composed of Sophia from the Philippines, Daniela, Lara, and Megan from the United States, Manon from Switzerland, and Yoonchae from South Korea – commendably performed their hit single titled “Touch.” Before Katseye entered the “It’s Showtime” stage, Jhong Hilario’s daughter Sarina had the chance to meet and hug the members backstage. Following the pop stars’ performance, Sarina adorably posed for a photo with them.

Later, SB19 and Katseye joined forces in a TikTok dance video. The two famous groups collaborated and danced to 'Touch' by Katseye. It can be recalled that Katseye was here in the Philippines as a part of their KATSEYE’s Asia tour.
