The entertainment industry mourns the loss of Bayani Casimiro Jr., a former comedian beloved for his role as Prinsipe K or Prinsipe Kahilingan in “Okay Ka, Fairy Ko.”

The sad news was confirmed to PEP.ph by his sister, Marilou Casimiro, according to a report by Jojo Gabinete.

He died of cardiac arrest on July 25, 2025. He was 57 years old.

The wake for Bayani Jr. is being held at St. Peter’s Memorial Chapel in Sucat, Parañaque City. His cremation and interment are scheduled for July 30 at Loyola Memorial Park, also in Parañaque City.

Bayani Jr., whose real name was Arnulfo “Jude” Casimiro, was the son of dancer and actor Bayani Casimiro Sr., who was often called the “Fred Astaire of the Philippines” for his dancing and acting abilities, Rappler noted.

Aside from “Okay Ka, Fairy Ko,” Bayani Jr. also appeared in several other films led by Vic Sotto. He became a familiar face in the “Enteng Kabisote” film franchise, solidifying his presence in Philippine comedy.

Among his other acting credits was “M.O.N.A.Y.,” a film written, directed, and headlined by Jun Urbano, who passed away in December 2023 at the age of 84.
