LJ Reyes narrates Paolo Contis’ reaction to illness of their baby Summer

LJ Reyes took to Instagram a lengthy post about how Paolo Contis handled and reacted to a challenging moment they faced when their child got sick.
“Naisip kong kunan sarili ko to remind me that night, that moment na.. ‘uy di na pala ako magisa!’ Minsan nakakalimutan ko na andyan si Pao not because he’s absent but because I was so used to doing everything on my own. Ang sarap sa pakiramdam na may taong nagaalaga din sayo,” said the Kapuso actress as she appreciates her partner for being by her side when their daughter was sick.
In her post, she shared that baby Summer had been sick for two weeks with coughs and colds. There was even one time LJ held her daughter all night because she was vomiting.
“ Isang gabi, sumuka sya sa kakaubo nya. Karga karga ko sya nun tapos hirap na hirap sya umubo. So pinapat ko yung likod nya to help her.”
“I kept telling her “It’s ok. Mommy’s here!”. Sobra kapit nya sakin. Hanggang sa sinusuka na nya yung plema.”
“Tinanggap ko lahat ng suka nya punong puno ako ng suka. Pero di ko sya binitawan”

But her caring partner insisted she changes her clothes first before resting.
“Pao insisted that I change my clothes kasi malalamigan likod ko sa aircon. I agreed kasi nagpapahinga na rin naman si Summer.”
The former Starstruck finalist expressed her gratitude to Paolo for taking care of the whole family.
“Gusto ko lang sana magpasalamat kay @paolo_contis! For being the father and partner that you are. Salamat sa pagaalaga sa amin!”
She also gave a moving message to other mothers.
"And to tell my fellow moms na minsan ok lang di tayo makapagayos para lang sa pamilya natin. Sasaluhin natin lahat ng suka ng buong buo para sa kanila! Our journeys may all be different pero parepareho ang puso natin!"
