In an emotional Instagram post, Kaila shared photos of herself with Sansa and penned a heartfelt tribute that touched many of her followers. She revealed that she had long feared the day Sansa would pass and now that it had come, she was grappling with the deep sadness of losing a cherished family member.

“I have been dreading this day and now it has come,” Kaila began. She fondly recalled the quirky and unforgettable moments that made Sansa so special.

“I miss the times you would sleep beside me on my bed and not leave me any space. I miss when you learned how to open the door in the middle of the night and never learned how to close it so we would have to close the door for you. I miss when you would steal food from the table, especially when the ulam was chicken. Your favorite.”

Despite the grief, Kaila emphasized the joy Sansa brought to her life, especially the way the dog’s face would light up every time she came home.

“But most of all, I’m going to miss seeing your sweet face light up whenever I would come home.”

She ended her message with a note of gratitude and love “Thank you for everything, Sansa. I love you. I hope you get to have all the roast chickens you want up there.”
