Actor Richard Gutierrez took to Instagram to share a touching birthday greeting for his eldest son, Zion, who just turned 12 years old.

Alongside a carousel of vacation photos of the two of them, Richard expressed his deep love and pride for his son. “Happy 12th Birthday, Zion!” he wrote. “Through all the highs and lows, you’ve always been right there by my side, with your big, kind heart,” thanking his son for staying with him through the trials their family faced.
The actor continued his message with warm words of encouragement, expressing his lifetimecommitment to be his son’s biggest supporter: “I’m so proud of the person you’re growing into, and I want you to know I’m always rooting for you, every step of the way. I will always have your back, Zion.” He ended the note by telling his son to “keep being you,” adding, “The world is brighter with you in it. I love you Zion!”
Zion is Richard’s eldest child with his former wife, actress Sarah Lahbati. The two also share a younger son, Kai. Since their separation, Richard has been linked to actress Barbie Imperial, confirming that they are now dating.

Richard Gutierrez is a Filipino actor and model best known for his leading roles in action series. He comes from a well-known showbiz family and is the son of veteran actor Eddie Gutierrez and talent manager Annabelle Ram. He rose to fame as a lead actor in GMA's hit fantasy series, Mulawin. Eventually, he transitioned to ABS-CBN in 2020 and gained praise for his role as Lito Valmoria in FPJ's Ang Probinsyano. He is married to Sarah Lahbati, with whom he has two sons, Zion and Kai. However, in 2025, he revealed they are undergoing an annulment after their split.
