Actress Ina Raymundo took to Instagram on April 20 to share a touching birthday message for her son Jakob as he turned 21. The proud mother posted a heartfelt letter, recalling her memories of him growing up and expressing her admiration for the man he has become.

“Dear Jakob, As you turn twenty-one, So many thoughts rush through my memory lane. From the day you were born To the tough days of nursing you as a tiny newborn, And you’ve always been a good boy,” she began.

Ina praised Jakob’s dedication and strong work ethic, especially in his athletic pursuits. “You’re an extraordinary man, Jakob, A true diamond in the rough. And I can’t help but envision your potential. You will go places, my son, As long as you keep doing what you’ve done since grade one. The hardest-working player I know, Hitting hundreds of balls a day until you say, I’m done!”

She also celebrated Jakob’s passion for baseball, affectionately calling him “the Neo of baseball,” and reminded him to always stay grounded in faith. “But most importantly, never forget the One Who blessed you with a gift second to none. I love you, Son.”

Ina ended the message with a note of gratitude and love for their family time together: “We’re so happy we get to celebrate with you, Kuya! We love you so much!! May God bless you always.”

Ina Raymundo is an actress and a commercial model. She got married to Ukrainian-Canadian businessman Brian Poturnak in 2003. The couple has five children – Erika, Jakob, Mikaela, Anika and Minka.

She also admitted though that it was empowering and that she felt good in sharing the moment with her fellow Gen X, Sunshine Cruz, who also walked down the ramp.
