In an Instagram video from Lolit’s friend Salve Asis, actor and comedian Paolo Contis gave a speech, recalling how Lolit became his talent manager. Paolo even joked that his life turned upside down once Lolit started to manage his career.
“Nung nagkaroon na ako ng ibang manager after how many years, gusto ko talaga si Nay Lolit mag-handle sa akin.
“E, may iba akong manager noon. So, sa kagustuhan ko, binili ko yung kontrata ko sa manager ko para mapunta ako kay Nay Lolit.

“And simula nun, nagkagulu-gulo na ang buhay ko!
“Kaya ayun, kita niyo… tingnan niyo ang nangyari sa akin,” Paolo joked.
Furthermore, Paolo also joked that Lolit defends him from issues that she herself created. Nonetheless, Paolo expressed his love for Lolit, who he calls his second mother.
“Gusto ko lang magpasalamat sa lahat, yung pagmamahal mo sa akin kahit hindi ako kamahal-mahal minsan.
“Maraming salamat sa pagtatanggol mo sa akin sa mga isyu na ikaw rin naman ang may gawa.
“Oo, may sasabihin akong sikreto sa kanya, ikakalat niya yun sa iba. Tapos ipagtatanggol niya ako.
“Pero hindi. Yan si Nay Lolit, e! Huwag mong sabihing hindi totoo? E, ganun talaga si Nanay.
”It’s either you love her or you hate her, but me, I love you very, very much. You’re my second mom,” Paolo shared.
