‘LizQuen’ as the first love team ambassadors of ICanServe Foundation

The “from reel to real” love team of Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil has been doing great not just in show business, but also as ambassadors of a foundation supporting breast cancer patients.
Known as the “LizQuen” tandem, KAMI learned that the two were the first love team to serve as charity ambassadors of ICanServe Foundation, Inc. in the Philippines
ICanServe Foundation, Inc. (ICS) was founded in 1999 by four breast cancer survivors. It is a non-stock, non-profit foundation in Manila. The main advocacy of the organization is to spread early breast cancer detection through various information campaigns and screening programs. The foundation also aims to empower women with breast cancer.
Last June 17, 2015, the LizQuen pair along with LizQuen Pexers, a group supporting the love team, and Ms. Lanie Eusebio, the executive director of the foundation, have joined forces to show their support to the ICS by conducting a block screening of the tandem's very own film, “Just The Way You Are.”
The proceeds of the block screening were collated for the “LizQuen Fund”. The said fund was used to assist indigent breast cancer patients in terms of their medical and financial needs. Through this, eligible patients suffering from Stage 1 to 4 breast cancer will no longer have to worry regarding their expenses.
After the block screening of the love team’s another film, “Everyday I Love You,” the LizQuen tandem was able to meet Rizalyn, one of the “LizQuen Fund” beneficiaries.

To kick-off their comeback at the big screen this year, Soberano and Gil will be starring in an upcoming film written and directed by Antoinette Jadaone. "Alone/Together” is the newest love story of 2019 that is set to hit the theaters on February 13, 2019.
