She gave a heartfelt greeting to the singer, whom she calls Nana and whom she treats like her younger sister.

The Asia’s Songbird also took to social media to share with her followers a video greeting. “Hi Regine, happy happy birthday. Magkasunod pala ‘yung birthday natin,” said the presidential aspirant, who will turn 57 on April 23.
In the heartwarming message, she also thanked Regine and Ogie Alcasid for supporting her presidential bid. It can be recalled that Regine, in a video uploaded on IG, declared her support for VP Leni and Sen. Kiko.
Regine Velasquez is a famous singer, host, and actress in the Philippines. She is dubbed as the Asia’s Songbird because of her outstanding vocal range. She is married to singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid.
The Asia's Songbird would also play funny antics on her husband, Ogie. In one episode of It's Showtime, one of the show's hosts jokingly told Regine that her husband said she looked like a Shih Tzu. Without warning, Regine humorously grabbed Ogie's hoodie and dragged him outside the studio.
Recently, Regine has declared her full support for Vice President Leni Robredo, who is running for president. The Asia’s Songbird also expressed her support for Leni’s running mate, Senator Kiko Pangilinan. She wants Leni and Kiko to lead the country because she believes that they will brighten the lives of the Filipino people. Singer-host Ogie Alcasid, Regine’s husband, is also a vocal supporter of the Vice President.
