Action star Robin Padilla recently posted a new video on Instagram that showcases how much he loves and protects his children.

The action star and senatorial aspirant said that the most important thing for him as a dad is how to protect his kids from harm.

In the video, he showed the protective measures that he would take in order to protect his children.

He said when it comes to kids, he always makes sure they are well-protected. Robin is the father of Kylie Padilla with Liezl Sicangco.

Kylie, on the other hand, is married to actor Aljur Abrenica, though they are now separated. They have two kids.

Recently, Kylie hugged the headlines again after her estranged husband Aljur posted a controversial message on Facebook that seem to point to Kylie as the cause of their break up.

In past interviews, Robin was also asked about Kylie and Aljur as to what he can advice them.

According to the action star, Kylie and Aljur separated because of a third party, though he did not elaborate as to whether he knew who that third party is.

At the time, he said he is not against the reconciliation of the two, particularly since they have two kids.

"May anak sila eh. Ayaw ko namang lumaking mga walang ama. Pamilya pa rin ako," Robin said in an interview with Ogie Diaz almost two months ago.

When asked if he thinks Aljur and Kylie just needed some space, Robin said there is a need for that sometimes, though he added that it should not be long.

The action star also revealed that he always reminds Kylie to always take care of herself.

Robin recently penned his thoughts on lawmaking in his latest online post on Instagram. According to some netizens, the former matinee idol continues to remain “unbothered” amid Aljur Abrenica’s post. Previously, Aljur made headlines when he posted his “breaking silence” letter to Kylie Padilla on Facebook. In his online post, the actor pleaded to Kylie to tell her dad the truth about their controversial split.

He also posted a video of him teaching his daughter Maria Isabella Padilla how to perform stunts in their house. He did not inform his wife, Mariel Padilla, about Isabella doing stunts because it would scare her too much. The actor also advised other parents not to make their kids perform the same stunts if they are not sure that the environment is 100% safe. According to Robin, he taught Isabelle those stunts for building confidence and motor coordination skills.
