Mariel Padilla, in one of her latest posts on social media, was praised by netizens for keeping it real when it came to her weight loss journey this year.

On Tuesday, August 29, the celebrity mom posted a recent photo she took inside Marie France as she seemingly waited for her appointment.

Clad in an all-casual outfit that looked cute on her, Mariel held a peace sign in front of the camera as she posed.

In the caption of her viral post, however, the celebrity mom talked about the struggles and challenges of losing weight lately.

"Let me be honest with you, my weight-loss journey after my 2nd child is harder than the first. My age has a lot to do with it. My metabolism is slower… everything. It can really get frustrating," she said.

By the end of the viral post, however, Mariel happily announced, "Malapit na ako mag-sleeveless!!!! More than the weight or the inches… ang mahalaga I AM HAPPY."

Mariel Padilla is a famous actress and host in the Philippines. The actress became even more successful after launching her own YouTube vlog. She is married to action star Robin Padilla, with whom she has two children – Isabella and Gabriela.
