Ai-Ai Delas Alas gave an exciting update about her life in America in a new interview on GMA’s Unang Hirit. The comedienne revealed that she is now working as an activity director at an elderly care facility in San Francisco, California.

The work requires Ai-Ai to go to the facility from Monday to Friday, as she is in charge of planning the recreational activities of the elderly people living there. According to Ai-Ai, her new job is a fulfilling one since it is a joy for her to serve elderly people and make them happy.

However, Ai-Ai is still continuing her showbiz career by performing at shows and concerts during the weekends. She also sometimes visits the Philippines when she has a showbiz project.

“Eto, pag yung every day na buhay ko, pumapasok ako as activity director.

“Pero pag kunwari Saturday and Sunday, may mga shows din ako, may mga upcoming shows ako and concert.. So, ganun ang buhay ko.

“Ikaw yung mag-iisip dun sa mga residente kung ano yung gagawin nila na magiging masaya sila, like magbi-bingo sila.

“Meron ding mga kompyu-computer, kasi may point click, may care plan.”

“Nag-e-enjoy talaga ako. Siyempre, alam mo, iba yung fulfillment ng naglilingkod ka sa ating mga elders,” Ai-Ai said.

Martina Eileen Hernandez delas Alas-Sibayan, more popularly known as Ai-Ai Delas Alas in the entertainment world, is a Pinay film and TV actress-comedienne. She was born on November 11, 1964, and rose to fame through her film, "Ang Tanging Ina," which became a blockbuster hit.

Last December, Ai-Ai and Gerald Sibayan reaffirmed their love for each other. The married couple has just renewed their wedding vows in Las Vegas, Nevada. The comedienne then took to social media to share snaps from the lovely ceremony. Her post received endearing comments from her followers, including celebrities like Marian Rivera and Lani Misalucha.

Previously, Ai-Ai posed for a photo with Coco Martin and Tom Rodriguez taken in Los Angeles, California. Coco is currently in LA to shoot a film in which Ai-Ai's son, Sancho Vito, is also a part. The comedienne and Tom, on the other hand, recently worked together at an event in Carson, California. Ai-Ai further described her picture with the two actors as "a very happy pic."
