Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto took to social media to give some important updates about his 14-day quarantine.

The young mayor had to undergo the said quarantine because his personal driver, Kuya Vener, recently died of COVID-19.

According to Sotto’s post last night, he was on his last night of quarantine. He explained that he still had to undergo quarantine even after testing negative for COVID-19 due to the DOH’s guidelines.

Sotto also told the employees of the local government of Pasig that they still have to avoid face-to-face meetings and that the Alternative Working Arrangement will still be implemented for everyone’s safety.

“My last night of quarantine!
“1. I did NEGATIVE in the PCR test on the fourth day from exposure, that's why the one I was still with last March 12 is safe;
“2. But even if it's negative, I still finished the 14-day quarantine period, because this is what DOH Guidelines say for CLOSE CONTACTS. The virus may just incubate even if you already tested negative.
“3. I still worked, but it's just a little lighter because there are no face-to-face meetings. Thank you so much for your prayers!
“NOTE: According to IATF Resolution 104, for the restrictions in the Greater Manila Area until April 4 (Christmas of Resurrection), we will still avoid face-to-face meetings until April 5. City Hall is still in the Alternative Working Arrangement,” Sotto posted on Facebook.
