Charlene Gonzalez revealed on social media that she underwent surgery to address a health condition.
KAMI learned that the former actress underwent an appendectomy because of her appendicitis.
Without the operation, Charlene’s appendix would have ruptured, which is life-threatening.
In her Instagram post, Aga Muhlach’s wife thanked her doctors, nurses, and loved ones for helping her throughout the ordeal.
Specifically, she expressed her gratitude to her twins Atasha and Andres since they had to spend their 18th birthday with her at the hospital.
“Thank you St. Luke’s Q.C. Hospital under the care of our family doctor internist, Dra. Ubungen. I went in for a check up for pain in the right lower abdomen, hip area. My blood test were normal but my CT Scan showed otherwise. I had appendicitis and needed immediate surgery the same day to remove my appendix to prevent rupture. Thank you to my anesthesiologists Dra. Ruiz & my surgeon Dr. Amado for the care and painless surgery who performed a laparoscopic appendectomy.. Plus, all the kind nurses who took care of me.
“(Unfortunately, I was not able to attend the Nuuk premiere, which I was so looking forward to watch, I will watch it during the regular screening) & thank you to my family for your endless love & for keeping me company in the hospital.. my mom, @agamuhlach & for Andres @aagupy & @atashamuhlach_ to spend their 18th birthday with me there and keep me company. I love you all so much. Here’s to a fast & swift recovery,” Charlene wrote on Instagram.
