Bodjie Pascua slams Palace after statement over Dengvaxia

Veteran actor Bodjie Pascua aired strong words against Malacañang after claiming that it is open to bringing back Dengvaxia vaccine as long as it benefits the Filipinos.
KAMI learned that the actor also called out Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) chief Atty. Persida Acosta, broadcaster Noli de Castro, and diehard supporters of the President regarding the matter.
“Matapos nyong takutin ang mga tao laban dito. Di lumabas baho nyo. Parang inamin nyong bobo,inutil at walanghiya kayo. Na di malayong ilagay nyo sa panganib ang buhay namin para sa t*ng*n*ng pulitika nyo,” Pascua said on Twitter.
“Ano masasabi mo ngayon Persida? Ka Noli? Ano na DDS?” he added.
Luisito "Bodjie" Pascua is popularly known as "Kuya Bodjie" in educational program "Batibot."

In a previous report by KAMI, Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said that the Palace is open to any suggestions to help the Filipinos amid the dengue outbreak.
Therefore, if proven by experts that the Dengvaxia vaccine could be beneficial, then the Palace might consider bringing it back.
The controversial Dengvaxia vaccine was used under the administration of former Pres. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III.
However, a study by the Sanofi Pastuer said that the vaccine could increase the risk if given to patients who never had a history of dengue.

Many filed cases over the alleged deaths caused by the Dengvaxia and they were led by Persida. However, the health department has clarified that there were no confirmed deaths due to Dengvaxia, it was mostly caused by dengue or other diseases.
