Heart Evangelista featured her dad Reynaldo Ongpauco and her sister Mich in her latest YouTube vlog.
KAMI learned from the video she uploaded of the humble beginnings of her father before entering the food and beverage business.
Heart's family owns the Barrio Fiesta chain of restaurants.
According to her dad, he used to live in the US with nothing but $200 in his pocket.
He then became a waiter in a popular restaurant abroad while serving a lot of prominent names in Hollywood.
By chance, his colleagues were able to taste his cooking which is why they assigned him in the kitchen to cook.
