“Queen of All Media” Kris Aquino finally exposed to public the real reason why she needed to change her hairstyle.
KAMI learned that the reason has something to do with the celebrity’s health condition and she revealed it through her recent social media post.
A netizen first asked Kris about the story behind her short hair and the actress immediately responded that it was because of the side effects of her medicines.
The former “The Buzz” host admitted that she has a lot of hair fall and that it saddens her seeing many hair strands on her pillow every time she wakes up.
“I’m not afraid to share my health battles, side effect of 2 of my medicines – I have a lot of hair fall, hindi chemotherapy level but alarming na…” she quipped.
“3rd month na 1 of the meds, by now dapat nag adjust but not yet, so to put less strain, I got a blunt bob. It’s sad to wake up & see lots of hair sa pillow or in the shower,” she added.
Despite her condition, Kris remains positive and thankful that she is still breathing and enjoying her life with her family.
“Maraming nalalagas regardless how gentle the shampoo & after when combing, still a lot… my life’s reality,” she stressed.
“But I always remind myself – be grateful because I’m alive,” she concluded.
