Comedian Chokoleit's passing made the showbiz world and netizens mourn. Some netizens are expressing their sadness because of the untimely demise of one of the country's best comedians.

According to a report by the Filipino Times, Chokoleit succumbed to pulmonary edema and heart attack, according to his attending physician Dr. Rosauro Seares.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital but the comedian did not make it. This was in contrast with the reports and social media posts that he was rushed to a hospital in Vigan.

Pulmonary edema is fluid accumulation in the tissue and air spaces of the lungs. It may lead to fatal respiratory distress or cardiac arrest due to hypoxia, especially acute.
