Kapamilya singer Kyla could not help but react hilariously after actor Vice Ganda decided to reveal her real name in the midst of hosting “It’s Showtime.”
KAMI learned that this happened when the hosts were discussing about their names before they entered showbiz and upon noticing that a daily contender has a unique name.
Mariel Padilla initially pointed out that Kyla’s name is too short and her mother surely did not have a hard time conceptualizing it.
Vice immediately rebutted that the R&B singer’s real name is not Kyla but Melanie Calumpad.
Because of this, Kyla could not stop laughing even when she already started giving her comments to the contestant.
She even joked that her real name pisses her off and the surname of her husband which is “Alvarez” is very much okay.

“Melanie Calumpad? May pa-Kyla Kyla ka pa, Melanie Calumpad pala pangalan mo…” Vice quipped.
“Parang magkapitbahay yung Herminio at yung Melanie Calumpad. Ang sosyal nung Kyla, yun pala, Melanie Calumpad…” he added.
