Celebs attend necrological service of Rico J Puno; OPM legends perform

- To celebrate his life, a necrological service was performed for him at a Catholic parish in Makati

A necrological service for the late singer Rico J. Puno was done at the Sanctuario de San Antonio church in Forbes Park, Makati.
The OPM legend died on October 30, 2018 at the age of 65.
KAMI learned that the event was attended by Rico’s family, friends and other celebrities.
Kapamilya entertainment reporter MJ Felipe posted photos and clips on Twitter from the service.
Some of the celebrities who attended include Matteo Guidicelli, KBrosas, Rochelle Barrameda, Imelda Papin, Claire dela Fuente, Eva Eugenio, Jessa Zaragoza Dingdong Avanzado and daughter Jayda, Erik Santos, and Pilita Corales.
OPM legends such as Hadji Alejandro, Rey Valera, Marco Sison, Nonoy Zuniga, Ogie Alcasid, Martin Nievera, Erik Santos and Angeline Quinto also performed at the service.

As for the Eulogy, Rico’s wife Doris, daughter Erika, and brother Jun gave emotional speeches. JunJun Binay, Bibeth Orteza, and Rico’s longtime manager Norma Japitana also gave eulogies for the departed singer.
According to MJ Felipe, Rico’s remains will be taken to the Makati City Hall in the morning, and interment in the afternoon at the Heritage Park, Taguig City.
