Vice Ganda life story
The actor grew up in a neighbourhood in Tondo, Manila. During his childhood, Vice was hesitant to reveal his true sexuality to his father because two of his brothers already identified as gay. Vice’s father worked as the barangay captain and would claim that Vice was his favourite child.
Tragedy struck the Viceral family a week before Vice’s 15th birthday. Vice’s father, Reynaldo Viceral was killed by a gunshot in front of Vice and his mother. The incident happened just outside their house, leaving their home lives shaken.
In a press conference for Praybeyt Benjamin, Vice recalled the tragic event, describing it as heavy, traumatic, and emotionally scarring. In an earlier guest appearance in Vice's talk show, however, Perez did admit that Vice is "special" to him, a statement met by Vice with a humorous denial. The two continue to jokingly hint about their relationship in T.V. appearances.
