-Iniimbestigahan din ang report na minamaltrato umano ito ng amo

-Hinihintay pa rin ng mga awtoridad ang autopsy na ginawa sa katawan ng Pinay

Isa na namang malungkot na balita, isang Pinay ang nasawi sa Saudi Arabia, ayon sa report ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) nito lamang Linggo.

Nalason umano ang overseas Filipino worker (OFW) na si Emerita Gannaban, 44 taong gulang at patuloy na iniimbestigahan ang report na ito ay minamaltrato umano ng amo.

Nito lamang June dumating si Gannaban sa Saudi Arabia upang mamasukan bilang kasambahay.

"The Department assures the family of Gannaban that it would take a closer look into her death as well as allegations that she had been maltreated," ayon sa DFA.

Namatay ang Pinay sa Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Hospital sa Riyadh noong October 29. Ayon din sa ulat, nagsagawa ng autopsy sa katawan ni Gannaban at hinihintay pa ang resulta nito para maiuwi na ang mga labi nito.

"The embassy is waiting for the results of the autopsy conducted on Gannaban,"

Nakikipag-ugnayan na rin daw ang embahada ng Pilipinas sa mga kaanak ng Pinay at maging sa amo at recruiters nito sa Manila.
