Kapuso actress Faith da Silva disclosed the heart-melting reason why she has not paid a visit to her father who is currently in a detention cell.

KAMI learned that former actor Dennis da Silva, the promising actress’ dad, was apprehended in 2002 for multiple charges of forced copulation.

One of those charges was in relation to the celebrity’s stepsister who got impregnated by her father at the age of 14.

Faith bravely revealed that the reason why she has not visited Dennis for 15 years already is because of their lost connection.

She said she was only two years old when her dad was imprisoned and she has never been ready to face him even now.

Parang you wouldn’t feel na may koneksiyon kayo,” the actress explained,” she added.

Another reason that Faith exposed to public is the estranged relationship between her and the former actor.

She hinted that she became used to the care and love of her mom because she did not see her father while she was growing up.

“For example, like me and my mom. Siya yung nandiyan for me, unlike my dad,” she qipped.

“I know he’s my dad by blood, pero yung relationship namin parang hindi nabuo because we didn’t see each other while I was growing up,” she added.

Despite their situation, Faith admitted that she still loves her dad and that she owes him her name.

She also does not forget the fact that Dennis is her father no matter how bad his image has become.

“Of course, I love him.

Born on April 29, 2001, Faith is a Kapuso artist who became part of Starstruck 6. She already starred and appeared in several shows including Hahamakin ang Lahat, That’s My Amboy, and Magpakailanman.
